Goodbye Lords House..

Miles spent most of his life so far stuck in a state of paranoia.  Nervous that his fathers plans for him, might someday, actually come true.  In a proud voice his father used to say “Son, someday you will be standing here in my shoes but not in my shadow, and on only your shoulders will rest the responsibility of deciding the price of a mans life.”  Sick with the knowledge that he will one day hold the key to life, the power of a king.  As a boy the idea had no meaning to him.  He was naive and trusting to a fault, to a point where his brothers could get him to do anything for a laugh.  But as time went on he grew more and more aware of his pending destiny.  The only bit of truth he had to hold on to was the whispered words of confidence he got from Diege to off-set his dismay.  He can imagine the feel and the weight of the crown on his head, he could hear his own cold, callous voice condemn a man to death.  But with age comes maturity and with that comes the ability to look at yourself through a key hole.  From the perspective of an outsider, he looks to the future and sees exactly what he was afraid of, himself stepping into the role of tyrant, bent on martyr.  Too hesitant to stand up and make a change, too scared to see that look on his fathers face.  “How can i ever face him?” Miles thought..His only option, the only way out..His Last Chance, RUNAWAY..
